This is a paper bowl that envelopes air. It is possible to create various shapes by pulling it in different directions. The paper is thin and light, but when expanded it is rigid and strong enough to stand alone.
KAZUNARI HATTORI(Graphic Designer)
Born in Tokyo in 1964. Graduated from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music in 1988 with adegree in Design. In that year, he joined Light Publicity Co., Ltd. Since 2001, he has actively worked as anindependent graphic designer and art director. Major Works: Advertisement Director for the KewpieCorporation. Conducted art direction for magazines “Mayonaka,” “Ryuko Tsushin,” and “here and there.” Designed logo for the Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum, Tokyo. Designed book jacket for the “PETIT ROYALFrench-Japanese Dictionary.” Designed photography books, catalogs and literary books.
