'LAND' Series
From the photo series 'LAND', an abstract depiction the Earth's natural beauty as if it were another planet.
This is a paper bowl that envelops air. It is possible to create various shapes by pulling it in different directions. The paper is thin and light, but when expanded it is rigid and strong enough to stand alone. The 'LAND' Series prints by photographer Mikiya Takimoto allow you to enjoy these beautiful images in 3D.

MIKIYA TAKIMOTO (Photographer)
Born 1974 in Aichi, Japan, Mikiya Takimoto began his career in photography at age 23. He has since focused on advertising photography and TV commercials while also branching out into magazines, CD covers, and other genres. Published works include BAUHAUS DESSAU MIKIYA TAKIMOTO (2005 / Pie Books), SIGHTSEEING (2007 / Little More), LOUIS VUITTON FOREST (2011 / Gentosha).Major accolades include New York ADC Award (Silver), Tokyo ADC Awards, Cannes Lion (Merit) and ACC CM Festival (Gold).
